On the 3rd of November 3 members of the Hemswell Court Team -Helen, Michael and Philip – attended the Lincolnshire Life Magazine Taste of Excellence Food & Drink Awards 2016 at the Best Western Oaklands Hall Hotel, Grimsby. Hemswell Court was a finalist in the Wedding Venue of the Year category.
This is a very special award for us to be nominated for, as it is voted for by our Brides and Grooms. We didn’t win, however Helen, Michael and Philip had a fantastic night. Helen was with the boys even though you can’t see her as she stayed the other side of the camera!
2016 has been a huge year celebrating the Queen on her 90th birthday and 100 years of RAF bases in the county. With this in mind Lincolnshire Life Magazine extend them to their Taste of Excellence Food & Drink Awards 2016, taking the guests that attended back in time to the era of the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Vera Lynn and Gracie Fields for a Black Tie Street Party.
The entertainment from The DreamBelles was fantastic, as was the street party vibe set off by bunting and Union Jack flags
We were really pleased to see some of Hemswell Courts regular supplies who were finalists and some who were winners of their categories
