I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for last night!

Everything seemed to be running beautifully smoothly when I left (about 8 ish) and, although I’m not actually in work today, I have heard only positive things.

Sean, Julie, Judith  - you were all supremely helpful, as were your lovely staff.

Just a massive thank you to Julie and all the staff at Hemswell Court, for making our Year 11 prom such a success.

The staff were very efficient and amazing, everything flowed smoothly, making my first planned prom experience less fraught.

Everyone seemed to have a great time and hopefully, no one let us down.

You have been so lovely and supportive, I look forward to working with you again.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Hemswell Court in the summer of 2019. Shaun, Julie, Judith and the team went above and beyond to ensure our day was everything we dreamed of. Thanks to the weather, we were able to hold our ceremony outside in the beautiful gardens which was just perfect then move inside for the wedding breakfast and reception, with the gardens available for our guests to spend time in all throughout the day and evening. The food was phenomenal, support from the entire team was exceptional and we are so grateful for such a perfect venue. We booked rooms for us and many guests to stay the night following the wedding which lovely as waking u the next day and all having breakfast together felt like an extension of our wedding day! I cannot fault anything about Hemswell Court - thank you so much!

Both Sam Benzie (Head of Year) and myself would like to thank you for all your help with the organisation of this event in particular Donna and Julie, it was lovely to meet Julie on Friday afternoon.

Please also pass on a huge thanks to Judith and her team for their hospitality on Friday afternoon during set up and of course on the evening itself, nothing was too much trouble, the event ran smoothly and made for a wonderful evening.

We would have no hesitation in recommending your venue to future Head of Years.

We all had a wonderful evening, in no small part to the friendly, professional and helpful staff you have at Hemswell Court.

We had the most amazing experience at Hemswell Court for our wedding day. From viewing the venue for the first time all the way up to the day, they were fantastic at communicating and helping us with all our needs and enquiries. Amazing accommodation, food and experiences. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking and we cannot wait to visit again.

Thank you for making our day so magical, we would not have wanted to get married anywhere else.

We had our wedding reception here in April and it was the perfect venue! Even in the lead up to the wedding, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and were always there to answer any of our questions. We had a brilliant day here; the food was amazing and everything was faultless with the service. Hemswell Court went above and beyond and I would highly recommend.

We were due to get married at Hemswell Court in August 2020. Covid-19 unfortunately caused a massive delay. The team at Hemswell were so accommodating and changed dates 3 times for us due to the pandemic. We were eventually able to go ahead in May 2022.
The venue is absolutely beautiful, I (the bride) stayed overnight before the wedding and Judith and the team were absolutely wonderful they ensured I had everything I needed for a relaxing stay before the excitement of the wedding day. My wedding day started early with a wonderful breakfast, then all systems go. I made use of the sitting room available for brides for hair and make up. A lovely bright comfortable room, Judith frequently popped in to check all was ok.
The wedding itself was a beautiful affair, lovely bright room, good acoustics, music system provided by the venue and music controlled by a team member (Phillip) We moved outside after the ceremony for drinks into the gorgeous space at the front doors. Then onto our reception, we gave our guests a choice of starter main course and desert from a very extensive menu. Shaun was very accommodating with menu, wine and dietary requirements. We also had an evening buffet of fish and chips, huge portions. We booked the recommended DJ and room decorator, he was great and the venue were extremely good about allowing him access to sort out the decorations etc. Judith and the team actually helped with set up on the wedding morning so I could relax and drink champagne 😂. The full day went off without a hitch largely due to Judith and the team.
If anyone is considering Hemswell Court for their wedding or in fact any other celebration/event. I could not recommend them highly enough.
